Operating Hours: Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day, though staff may sometimes be away from the desk during the day. A night guard is always present in the evenings. Phone inquiries may not be answered during very late hours.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. PWD Discount

We offer a 20% PWD discount exclusively for direct bookings. As per Philippine law, this discount applies only to the PWD guest's portion of the room rate, not the entire room.

To avail, the PWD guest must present a valid PWD ID and a government-issued ID. We are legally required to verify the validity of PWD IDs to prevent misuse. If we cannot confirm your ID number online, we will require supporting documentation, such as the PWD booklet (where PWDs typically sign for groceries, medicine, etc.).

We simply follow the law to ensure the discount is validly applied. Many of our guests have successfully received the PWD discount with valid online registration or the required booklet.

  1. Check-in / Check-out Times
  • Standard Check-in: 3:00 PM
  • Standard Check-out: 11:00 AM

Early Check-in / Late Check-out: These are subject to availability and incur an additional fee of half a day's room rate. If your room was occupied the night before, preparation time is needed, so early check-in might not be possible until the standard 3:00 PM. We may not be able to confirm early check-in far in advance due to potential last-minute bookings.

  1. Cancellations

All reservations are non-refundable. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received. For reservations made via credit card through our website (e.g., PayPal or PayMongo gateways), the full total amount is charged upon confirmation.

  1. Pet Policy

We unfortunately do not allow pets at Ohayō Siargao.

  1. Wi-Fi

Yes, we provide Starlink Wi-Fi. It offers the best possible internet connection available on the island.

  1. Parking

On-site car parking is available for an additional charge. Reservations are required as space is limited, and we cannot guarantee availability for walk-in parking upon check-in.

  1. Breakfast

Breakfast service is not yet available, but we plan to offer it very soon.

  1. Getting to Ohayō & Transportation Tips

Upon arriving at Sunflower, head towards Ohayō. Our location is a short walk from the main road where airport vans drop off. Please be aware that the walk to Ohayō is along an unpaved road, which can be muddy, especially after rain. This is common for accommodations along what locals call the 'backroad.' We work to maintain the road with soil, but as we don't own it, permanent paving is not possible.

Shortcut to Tourism Road: There's a 9-minute shortcut walking path to Tourism Road. Our staff can provide directions upon your arrival.

Tricycle Fares (Recommended over Tuk-tuks):

  • Ohayō to anywhere in General Luna: ₱30 per person (day) | ₱50 per person (night)
  • Ohayō/General Luna to Catangnan: ₱50 per person (one way)
  • Ohayō/General Luna to Dapa: ₱350 (one way, private) | ₱50 per person (shared ride)

Always confirm the fare with the driver before boarding and ensure they will take you directly to the Ohayō building. We recommend finding another tricycle if they quote a higher price.
